The Tobermory Christmas Lights Switch On 2022

On Saturday we had the annual Christmas lights switch on in Tobermory. It’s always a great social event bringing together islanders from all over Mull. A big part of the appeal is the Christmas shopping with all the retail outlets in Tobermory showcasing their Christmas sparkle, and we were no less sparkly in Island Blue Tobermory!

Our team of the day Caroline, Carla and Pam welcomed islanders into the shop late into the evening. Our reputation for offering yummy chocolates was kept up with great enthusiasm (by crew as well…) and this year we had the equally delicious addition of Pam’s home made Spring Rolls. With people coming back for seconds and thirds what better endorsement for bringing these back next year! Its always a great feeling to be able to share with so many locals our great brands like Jellycat, Powder, Doris & Dude, Roka, and of course our number one favourite Inis. We love our unique suppliers and they work so hard each year to be amazingly creative, what a fantastic industry it is to be involved in and we are lucky enough to be doing it here right here in the heart of the Hebrides!
